The Gator football team continues practice today with the start of its season now just a little more than two weeks away.
After practice on Thursday, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn met with the media to talk about his defense and was specifically asked about creating more turnovers this season.?? Last year, Florida finished near the bottom of the barrel in turnover margin and Quinn says the defensive coaching staff has worked hard to work with the players to try and create more turnovers.
In a scrimmage last Saturday, the defense created four turnovers and the hope is the unit will create more as the Gators scrimmage again.
A reminder that there?will be an open practice in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday morning from 9 to 11am.?? It is the only scheduled open practice of the preseason.
