Indonesian Ahmadi attack victim may be jailed (AP)

JAKARTA, Indonesia ? An Indonesian man injured when Muslim hard-liners attacked members of his minority Islamic sect is waiting to hear if he'll be jailed. He could face a longer prison term than the actual attackers.

Deden Sudjana is changed with inciting the February attacks on the Ahmadiyah minority that killed three of the sect's members.

The Serang District Court decides Monday if Sudjana ? whose hand was nearly severed by a machete ? should be jailed.

Prosecutors seek nine months in prison for Sudjana. That would be more than was given to 12 men caught on video leading the attack.

Some 1,500 hard-liners surrounded a house where 20 Ahmadis were gathering in February. Chanting "Kill! Kill!" they smashed in the head of one Ahmadi and beat others with bamboo sticks.
